Fei Tswei Reserve Syrah 2019

Cold maceration ensures the colours and aromatics of the grapes are well preserved. Low temperature is maintained for the entire fermentation process, combined with various circulation processes to ensure smooth and continuous fermentation, whilst retaining the volatile esters in the wine. Post fermentation maceration is carefully calibrated to fully extract the tannins and polyphenols from the cap.

Aging method: 12 months in oak barrels, 12 months in bottle.

Tasting Notes

"Intense ruby red in colour, clear and translucent in appearance. Elegant nose of violets, lychee, blueberry, cherry and mulberry, accompanied by decadent aromas of vanilla, chocolate, and coconut milk. Round and smooth in the mouth, with ripe and fine tannins. Full-bodied, fleshy, balanced structure and a lingering long finish."
