Collection: Xinjiang 新疆
This historical wine-producing region formed part of the Western Regions in Chinese historical records. It consists of massive expanses of desert and the Tianshan snow mountain ranges. It is the largest wine-producing region of China, traditionally famous for high-quality raisins.
It has a continental/semi-arid climate with very hot, dry summers and extremely cold winters, which means vines require burying for protection.
