Magma ‘Joyous’ Red Blend

Cold maceration ensures the colours and aromatics of each variety are well preserved. Low temperature is maintained for the entire fermentation process, combined with various circulation processes to ensure smooth and continuous fermentation, whilst retaining the volatile esters in the wine. Post fermentation maceration is carefully calibrated to fully extract the tannins and polyphenols from the cap.

Aging method: 8 months in oak barrels, 6 months in bottle.

"Lifting and welcoming layers of ripe, juicy red berries on the nose and on the palate. This wine is a great crowd pleaser and very versatile with food. It is fresh, juicy, and bright with gentle tannins, and a touch of savouriness and spice on the finish. An engaging wine with structure and depth but also quite fun because of its quirky and unusual blend of grape varieties!"
